About the event

Although the exact astronomical midpoint between the solstice and equinox occurs around 3 am (early Monday morning, not ideal for a gathering), let's welcome the light once the sun rises. We'll begin by braiding our own Brigid's crosses using rushes, followed by celebrating Candlemas by crafting our own candles, imbuing them with our intentions. If the weather allows, some activities can take place outdoors, but the workshop is cozy, so we'll decide together. Andrée will then guide a meditative breathing session to awaken our bodies from winter's slumber, certainly stimulating our appetites. We'll conclude the ceremony with a delightful feast featuring foods historically associated with Imbolc celebrations or inspired by the Festival's themes.
